Tonight is the last night we are spending at our home here in the U.S. While we’re so excited to go, we’re going to miss our kids and the friends we made here. We hope that this isn’t goodbye, but rather “À bientôt!” (see you soon).

We’ve sold our last piece of furniture and made our tenth donation run to Goodwill (at least!). The U-haul truck is packed with everything we are taking to storage and we are finishing up our suitcase packing. The last car goes to its new home Monday. The cleaners come tomorrow to help us finish up and get our home ready for the new owners. We hope they love it!

We’ll be driving the U-haul to the Bay Area Tuesday to store our belongings and visit family and friends in Northern California before our flight to Paris in early May. Wish us safe travels!
